WHEN: Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm throughout the school year (with some exceptions during school breaks). You can join anytime!!!!! Dinner is served at 5:30pm with a small asking donation of $2 per person or $5 per family.
Cubbies
Kids ages 3 (by August 15th, 2009) through age 5 will enroll in our Cubbies club. Boys and Girls ages K-2nd grade will be a part of the Sparks club. Children in 3rd to 6th grade are in the group T & T.Fun - and lots of it is what you can expect in our Cubbies preschool club! Awana is fun with a purpose - to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.
Sparks
The Sparks club combines learning with fun to create an atmosphere that keeps kids coming back. This Awana club for children in kindergarten through second grade builds on the material taught in our preschool club. The aim is to take our kids a step deeper into God’s Word while giving unsaved boys and girls frequent opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. The curriculum teachs basic truths about God, Jesus Christ, salvation and the Bible. Over the 3 year period children are Sparks club member they will learn and review 68 verses, many of those focus on salvation and basic Christian principles.
T&T
Our T&T (Truth and Training club) is all about learning God's word and learning how to follow Christ in our daily lives. In our 3rd-6th grade program T & T kids will have learned and reviewed approx. 310 verses. They will have worked through scripture from both the Old and New Testament. Our T & T club kids will learn answers to many of lifes important questions and have memorized scripture to back those answers up.
Game Time
Of course what would Awana be without GAME TIME. Our Cubbies will get to play along with their leaders in age appropriate games, non-competitive and often those games are a part of the Bible lesson they will learn. For our older groups game time is a little more competitive. Game time is held at our Awana game circle and can range from relay races, to 3 legged races, dodge ball or sillier games such as running a race while holding a spoon of popcorn kernals.
